Financial support was made available to international students who presented the results of their own research in a talk or poster format at the 2006 V.M. Goldschmidt Conference™ in Melbourne, Australia. Sponsors- Geochemical Society
- National Science Foundation1
Application ProcessApplicants were required to submit a package by mail to Johnson Haas (Program Chair) that included: - a current CV (CV had to include the applicant's email address and date of birth)
- a copy of the applicant's submitted 2006 Goldschmidt abstract and assigned abstract number
- a one page description of the broader impacts and significance of the applicant's research, and
- a brief budget justification that includes a description of their financial need, tentative budget and availability of travel support from other sources.
Applications were received, copied and distributed to the review committeed based upon the type of geochemistry (high-temperature or low-temperature). Review CommitteeThe review committee was chaired by Johnson Haas and included two other low-temperature and three high-temperature geochemists. | High-Temperature Review Committee | Low-Temperature Review Committee |
