The Geochemical Society provides up to 10,000 US$ annually in student grant support for students traveling to the Goldschmidt Conference. In 2006, we were able to bolster this through a 30,000 US$ grant from the National Science Foundation. As successful as last year's program was, NSF funding for the 2007 meeting is not guaranteed. Your financial support to this program will increase the number of available student grants. Organic Geochemistry Division
The Organic Geochemistry Division was established in 1960 to promote and recognize achievement in organic geochemistry. Current programming includes developing organic geochemistry sessions/symposia and awarding the OGD Best Paper and the Alfred Treibs Medal. Your financial support will allow OGD to improve its ability to promote organic geochemistry. Meeting Assistance
The Geochemical Society Program Committee allocates up to five 2,000 US$ grants to financially support geochemistry sessions/symposia at any scientific conference of geochemical relevance. Your financial support of this program will increase the number of available grants.
