Elements Magazine is a bi-monthly (6 issues/yr) publication of the Geochemical Society and several associated societies.
Every issue explores a theme of broad and current interest in the mineral and geochemical sciences as well as regular features like a calendar of events, short course announcements, highlights of groundbreaking papers, awards, conference reports, policy news, and news of the Societies. Elements publishes invited peer-reviewed invited papers for its thematic collection of papers.
All Geochemical Society members receive a hardcopy subscription and online access to Elements Magazine as part of their membership.
Damages or Missing Issues
If your subscription issue did not arrive or was destroyed during delivery, please send an email indicating which issues need to back ordered to gsoffice@geochemsoc.org. Back issue orders take about 3-4 weeks to fill.
Mid-year Subscriptions
Subscription to Elements is calendar year, however if you start your subscription in the middle of the year back issues will not be sent unless you request them (see sidebar for the Geochemical Society's Elements Back Issue Policy).
Online Access Activation
All Geochemical Society members have online access to the Elements archive of issues through the Elements Magazine website.
To view the Elements Archive:
1) Go to: http://www.elementsmagazine.org/archives/index.html
2) Enter your email address and your Geochemical Society membership number and click submit.
The site will then take you to the archive where you can .pdf files of full issues or individual articles. Note that the email address used must be the email address the Geochemical Society has on file. If an alternate or variation is used, you will not be able to access the archive. If you are not sure which email to use or have forgotten your GS member number send a request to gsoffice@geochemsoc.org.
