Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta (GCA), is sponsored by the Geochemical Society and the Meteoritical Society and is published by Elsevier Science Ltd. Dr. Frank Podosek (Washington University in St. Louis) has been the Executive Editor since 2000.
GCA welcomes unsolicited original scientific contributions within its scope of geochemistry and cosmochemistry. For information about editorial staff and policies, and information and guidelines regarding scientific contributions, please consult the GCA Editorial Website.
Members of the Geochemical Society and Meteoritical Society may purchase a personal hardcopy subscription to GCA at an exclusive members-only rate. Institutional subscriptions must be purchased through Elsevier Science.
Damaged or Missing Issues
If your subscription issue did not arrive or was destroyed during delivery, please send an email indicating which issues need to back ordered to gsoffice@geochemsoc.org. Back issue orders are submitted to Elsevier and take about 8-10 weeks to fill.
Mid-year or Multi-year Subscriptions
Subscription to GCA is calendar year. If you start your subscription in the middle of the year, a back issue order will be submitted for your missed issues from that year (e.g. if you started with v.72 issue 9, a back issue order will be submitted for v.72 issues 1-8, and your subscription will end with v.72 issue 24.). If your subscription has lapsed for more than a year or you wish to purchase previous years you may by paying the full cost (subscription and GS membership). Contact Seth Davis at seth.davis@geochemsoc.org to arrange this. Up to two previous years are available (e.g. in 2008, issues back to January 2006 are available).
